TXT New Comeback 'Can't You See Me?'

On May the 18th of 2020, TXT (투모로우바이투게더) dropped their new single ‘Can’t You See Me’ from their new album ‘The Dream Chapter : ETERNITY’ with six songs including the title track.

Following the album ‘The Dream Chapter : Magic’ where the boys experienced the changes of growing out of childhood and becoming adolescents, they have now discovered the harsh reality but manage to always stay together.

The song talks about how friendship can eventually break at some points, with lyrics like ”friends don’t understand me anymore.” The reality of it can be seen in the music video where it all begins with the boys hanging out together, wearing all white which could represent happiness and peace.

However, it takes another turn in the storyline after the second chorus ; the boys starts throwing and crushing strawberries on the wall, painting their hands red. Seeing the changes in their faces, it makes it look like they are covered in blood. And the fact that their clothes are black and the atmosphere drastically changed from peace to war, which represents the way their friendship downgraded.

Unlike the previous albums, TXT now explore a new turn in their friendship such as loneliness and betray with lyrics such as ‘Can’t you hear it? My voice is searching for you.’ ‘Once again, I’m left alone.’ or ‘Save me.’
